The front page of the October 6, 2012 Wall Street Journal had an article entitled “A Spy-Gear Arms Race Transforms Modern Divorce”. Part of the article dealt with spouses checking up on each other using GPS devices planted surreptitiously. The press is also full of news of GPS tracking devices being used in criminal investigations.
